• Serious Anti-Social Behaviour

    Behaviour that constitutes the commission of an offence, or that causes, or could cause fear, danger, injury, damage, or loss.

    Examples of Serious Anti-Social Behaviour include:
    • Intimidation or threats
    • Racial harassment or other hate behaviour
    • Actual violence against people
    • Sale or supply of drugs
    • Targeted vandalism (vandalism used to harass or intimidate).
    • Loud noise
    • Drinking or drug use leading to disorderly behaviour
    • Vandalism or graffiti
    • Littering or dumping of rubbish
    • Hoarding that is impacting on others peaceful occupation
    • Any other persistent behaviour that interferes with the peaceful occupation of others.
    What to do if you experience Serious Anti-Social Behaviour?
    • Call Gardaí or relevant emergency services on 911 or 112.
    • Try to place yourself in a safe position.
    • Please report this to Clann.
    What to do if you experience Serious Anti-Social Behaviour?
    • You will be asked for dates, times, and details of what you are reporting. Clann can provide log sheets to assist you with this.
    • If you reported the incident to Gardaí, please request the PULSE number and the name of the Garda you had been dealing with.
    • Clann will investigate your concerns.
    • If evidence is found and action is deemed appropriate and necessary, Clann will act in line with our policies and procedure.
    • If evidence is not found or action is not deemed necessary, Clann will close the case.

  • Persistent Anti-Social Behaviour

    Behaviour that persistently interferes with the peaceful occupation of another individual.

    Examples of Persistent Anti-Social Behaviour:
    • Persistent unreasonable noise
    • Persistent loud parties
    • Persistent disorderly behaviour
    • Any other persistent behaviour that interferes with peaceful occupation
    What to do if you experience Persistent Anti-Social Behaviour?
    • Try to speak to your neighbour if you feel safe to do so. They may not be aware their actions are impacting your household.
    • Use Clann’s ‘Dear Neighbour Letter’ to express your concern and seek a resolution.
    • In respect of persistent parties / regular noise disturbances / fear for safety, call Gardaí.
    • If you cannot find a resolution, please report this to Clann.

  • Breach of Tenancy

    Breach of Tenancy is when you breach your tenancy obligations as outlined and agreed in your Tenancy Agreement.

    Examples of Breach of Tenancy:
    • Unauthorised Occupants
    • Unauthorised Pets
    • Unauthorised Adaptations
    • Fly tipping or littering
