In September 2020, Clann collaborated with residents on the formation of the Clann Residents’ Advisory Group (CRAG). The group is made up of people from across the Clann resident body. The purpose of CRAG is to work in partnership with Clann to represent the views and concerns of Clann residents in our own schemes and nationally, in order to positively influence policy making and decisions going forward.

Despite global pandemic restrictions, CRAG has gone from strength to strength over the past two years mainly conducting its meetings online. They are also actively seeking to recruit new members to join the team. Their work has included:

  • Input into tender for Tunstell Emergency Call System
  • Involvement in developing a Welcome/Induction pack for new residents
  • Engagement regarding the design of Saol Newsletter
  • Discussions around developing a Digital Upskilling Project
  • Input into the ASB working group
  • Plans for local history projects
  • Involvement in sustainability sub-group
  • Involvement in the development of the Resident Engagement Strategy
  • Providing feedback on development of the resident portal.
