Residents in Lios Na Dara and Great Northern Haven in Dundalk enjoyed a Positive Ageing lunch as part of the national Positive Ageing Week. There was a good turn out and everyone was looking forward to catching up again – the two groups had met for a Neighbours’ Day event in the summer with Oriel Lodge in Cavan, so this lunch offered a chance for the Dundalk schemes to share stories and updates. Some friendships have been made between all three schemes, and we look forward to building on these good relations at future outings.
