Taobh Linn is a purpose-built scheme consisting of 38 apartments and a day centre. All apartments have walk-in showers. The Day Centre offers a 3 course lunch 6 days per week and operates a ‘Meals on Wheels’ service providing hot fresh meals to people unable to get to the Day Centre.
The community in Taobh Linn are very active and they regularly take part in arts and crafts and go off on day trips. The scheme is across the road from the Health Centre, chemist and supermarket and is within walking distance of Kenmare town.
