Launch of
Clann

We are proud to launch Clann, a dedicated age-friendly housing service providing good quality housing for people over the age of 55.

The launch of Clann is an important milestone and recent statistics support this. The population of Ireland has been getting steadily older since the 1980’s. Over 13% of the population is now 65 years of age or older. We know that the population will continue to age.

There is a gap in housing and support options for older people, between remaining at home and going into a nursing home. We are dedicated to filling that gap through building more age-friendly housing in towns and cities across Ireland.

We are proud to encourage our residents to live independently and we recognise the contribution they make to their community.

We look forward to growing this service with your help and contribution over the coming years.
