Winter is a difficult time of year, it’s hard to stay warm and comfortable with the changing weather. For the more vulnerable people in our society, it can be an added pressure to cope with.
Tips to stay warm at home include:
- Hot meals like porridge or soup instead of cereal or sandwiches
- Wear thermals
- Put an extra jumper on
- Wear warmer clothes like fleece or wool
- Take a regular hot drink like tea or coffee
- Get active. Walk around the house or do stationary exercises
